ABOUT THE
EDLIN HOUSE

Nestled in a serene setting less than 10 minutes away from the heart of downtown Laurel, our HGTV-featured home is more than just a place to stay—it's an invitation to slow down, breathe deep, and rediscover the magic of small-town living.

Originally envisioned as a musician's retreat, The Edlin House has evolved into a sanctuary for anyone seeking to trade city rhythms for front-porch moments. Every corner of our space tells a story, from the warm wood accents to the carefully curated details that make it feel like coming home—even if you've never been here before.

Whether you're a songwriter looking for inspiration, a family needing a change of pace, or simply someone who wants to experience the charm of Laurel, our doors are open. Here, you'll find the perfect blend of cozy cabin comfort and modern convenience, all wrapped in Southern hospitality.

You might've seen us on HGTV, but we think the real magic happens when guests like you make this space your own. Come experience the simple joys of small-town living, where neighbors still wave from their porches and every sunset feels like a gift.

We'd love to be part of your story.

OUR STORY

"The Edlin House was built by one of my dad's longtime friends, Bobby Webb. He built it by hand, entirely himself. He cut down the pine trees on the property, had the lumber milled, and used it all from that very land to construct the house. This place meant a lot to my dad, partly because of that craftsmanship. He loved it and had grand plans to renovate it. He completed some of the work, but not nearly all of it.

That's when Ben and Erin stepped in and transformed this place into everything it should have been—and more. One thing that never aired on the episode (since it occurred after video production) was the day they finally completed all the finishing touches and handed me the keys. That day happened to be my dad's birthday. After everyone left, I stood there alone in the house, finally mine, and said aloud, 'Well, happy birthday, Dad! I hope this makes you proud of how it all turned out.'"
